I am starting on the News HOWTO

Dear all,

I just wanted to inform you that I am beginning work on the Linux Usenet
News HOWTO. It has not been maintained for three years now. I had
already informed the HOWTO maintainers many months ago. Nothing was done
at my end since then. :)

Is anyone else working on it? If not, I'll submit a draft soon, in plain
text (or LaTeX) form for review. I have read the HOWTO-HOWTO, and it
appears that the first draft can be in "any" format. Will plain ASCII be
preferable, or can I use LaTeX?
