Hi,

I've been lurking for a while to get a feel for LDP and maybe some of
the unwritten rules of the road. I have the exact same issue with two
HOWTOs: ADSL and FDU (Font De-uglification). No reply from authors, no
bounce either. Both HOWTOs could use some updating.

So I assume the same would apply here also. ???

On a related note, how is it determined officially whether a HOWTO is
maintained or not? And maybe some of the active maintainers could give
me an idea of what kind of personal mail volume this might generate.

And if I do a significant rewrite, should I change the email address?

TIA
