This program was developed as a part of a scientific project of a regional model for sustainable landuse. There a many indicators for the economic, ecologic and social state of a area. One of the most important indicators is the demographic development of a agricultural dominated area. I needed an illustrative demo for such a development, not only for agricultural area, also for any area in a modern country. Modern country means, that the deathrate is equal for all inhabitants. In such countries there is a big discussion about the immigration related to the unemployment of the population. But how will the German population look like in, for example, 100 years without any immigration? You can play with the model and you'll find it out. You can change the birthrate, the immigration, the emigration and see the results. Further you have the opportunity to change a set of parameters like the deathrate, the number of inhabitants, the gender of the emigrations and so on. Last but not least you have the sources so you are able to extend the whole program. But the program is only a model, not reality. For example you have to estimate the birthrate, the deathrate and so on. Think before you play with the program.
